Hi Chris, It is the sprint tri distnace without the swim. The first run is 1.5 miles then 14 mile bike and 3.2 mile run.

Hi Steven,
Wetsuit are permitted if the water temperature is under the USAT guidlines for approval. In 10 years we have not had a race where they are not permitted. However it has been close some years. We will have water but will not be handing it to you.

For 2021 we have decided to cancel the Olympic distance event to keep it simple. After all the changes and cancellations last year with Covid we are just offering the Sprint but have also added the Super Sprint distance as well as the youth distances. We will bring back the Olympic distance for 2022.

I am sorry I don’t understand your comment. The swim was 1500 and the bike course 24 miles as advertised. All athletes have the same distance the results are not affected.

My gran kids did it last year and enjoyed themselves. I decided to do it this year having dome many triathlons. At the end of the race I did participate in the Olympic, many of us noticed that the swim was longer and the bike was at least 2 miles longer. It wasn’t a big deal , but when almost everyone had the same long distance it does effect the results. This has happened a few triathlons but not many. Otherwise despite the weather you put on a good event.
