Please note: This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. If you are not an annual member of USAT, you will be required to pay an additional $15 fee for a one day license and insurance purposes.
Online Registration will close on July 29th, 2026 midnight. No race day registration. We will NOT take onsite registration. ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY July 29th.
Refunds not available after two weeks prior to the event. No credits or refunds will be given if the race is cancelled or the timing or date of the event is altered for reasons outside the control of the race organizers or if the race course is changed due to poor weather. Shirts are not available for purchase if registering after July 17th.

Is the Monroe Triathlon still scheduled for 2021? Will wet suits be permited? What will be the status of water stations because of covid? Will friends be allowed to provide runners with water or nutrition?

Wetsuit are permitted if the water temperature is under the USAT guidlines for approval. In 10 years we have not had a race where they are not permitted. However it has been close some years. We will have water but will not be handing it to you.
I have documentation from my prior registration in 2020 that I was fully registered and paid for the Sprint Tri. Can you send me confirmation of my registration being forwarded to this year? I intend to do the Sprint Tri again, and understand last year’s registration is good for 2021. Please let me know. Thank You.

Hi Bonnie, You are registered for the Sprint for 2021.
I’m trying to register for the Olympic triathlon but when I go to sign up the only options are Sprint, Super Sprint, Youth, or Relay.
For 2021 we have decided to cancel the Olympic distance event to keep it simple. After all the changes and cancellations last year with Covid we are just offering the Sprint but have also added the Super Sprint distance as well as the youth distances. We will bring back the Olympic distance for 2022.
